DETROIT, Feb. 13 -- The Detroit chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/Detroit) is seeking entries for the 2003 Renaissance Awards, which recognizes local business communications professionals for their accomplishments.
The award program honors communications designed to promote the image, marketing or programs of a specific business or institution. The competition encompasses media in nearly 50 categories and is divided into six disciplines:
This year's award includes several new categories recognizing excellence in communication management, electronic communications and the innovative use of limited resources. In addition, there are two special award categories, Communicator of the Year and the Student Achievement Award. All winners will be announced at the Renaissance Awards program on June 17, 2003, at the MSU Management Education Center, Troy, Mich.
The IABC/Detroit Renaissance Award program is open to all business communications professionals (members and non-members of IABC/Detroit) in southeast Michigan, northwest Ohio and southwest Ontario.
