IABC/DETROIT HONORS METRO DETROIT BUSINESS COMMUNICATORS IN THEIR DRIVE TO BE THE BEST

 

 

Detroit, MI – June 27, 2005 – IABC/Detroit today announced the winners of the 24th Annual IABC/Detroit Renaissance Awards during ceremonies at the VisTaTech Center in Livonia. More than 200 metro Detroit area communicators attended the event with 70 awards presented.

 

The Renaissance Awards honors the area’s best communication efforts in more than 45 categories ranging from communication management including internal and external communications; writing; art/design; print communication; direct mail/advertising and communication technology which include electronic and interactive.

 

Introduced last year, IABC/Detroit presented the President’s Award, which recognizes the “best of the best” in Communications Management. The 2005 winner, Harper University Hospital, won for its entry Exceptional Doctors, Exceptional Care.

 

The competition also includes a “Best of Show” awards for the entries that exceed industry standards within their respective categories.
