About IABC/Detroit
It is this diversity of talents that makes us unique and adds value to membership. Over the past few years we have been reaching out to young professionals, who bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the table. And our senior communicators bring a wealth of experience to that same table, making for informed and creative solutions. I like to think of IABC/Detroit members as clients and non-members as prospective clients. This organization exists for you and you alone. Whether you're job hunting, networking, looking for best practices, seeking leadership opportunities or engaging in continuing education, we want to be your one-stop shopping center. And we encourage your feedback, which enables us to better meet your needs. Here at IABC/Detroit you will be heard. We have some exciting projects planned for the upcoming year: 1) a new website that will engage our clients and offer a fresh perspective on our products and services, 2) a new branding initiative that will help us to focus on our core mission, and 3) a five-year plan that will enable us to "grow smart" as an organization while anticipating key issues along the way. Above all, I would encourage you to enjoy your time with IABC/Detroit. I think you'll find that we're very user friendly and eager to help you make the most of your membership.
