Laura Heidrich - Public Relations Director

As PR chair for IABC/Detroit, Laura has elevated awareness of the chapter by publicizing news and events through media outreach. She has been a member since 2005.

As a communications specialist for ArvinMeritor, Laura supports the development and execution of strategic communication plans for the company's Light Vehicle Systems business unit. Using the Intranet, e-mail notices, a monthly eNewsletter and a quarterly diversity council newsletter, she develops and maintains communications for internal audiences. She also manages the production of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations and videos.

She has earned many Diamond awards from the Michigan Society of Association Executives for excellence in print newsletter design, meetings and expositions, and public relations.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Oakland University, and has attended Oakland Community College and Wayne State University.
