Elin Nozewski - Academic and Community Relations Director

As IABC/Detroit's academic and community affairs co-director Elin speaks to students at local universities about careers in communications and mentors them as they embark on their profession. She also educates career professionals about the benefits of IABC membership.

Elin is employed as an account supervisor at Airfoil Public Relations, one of the nation's leading independent public relations firms where she supervises the agency's business-to-business and business-to-consumer accounts. She has more than five years of experience, including local, national and vertical media relations, crisis communications, event planning, interactive media, strategy development, communications planning, program implementation and measurement.

Elin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an APR certification from the Public Relations Society of American (PRSA).
