If you've ever thought about taking your communications skills and striking out on your own, make sure your first step is to participate in the next IABC/Detroit meeting. Three panelists who have built their own businesses share straight talk on what works, what doesn't and why you should consider being your own boss. The program will be on Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the Woodlands of Van Buren from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
