Luncheon: Detroit Zoological Society: Communications Challenges and Opportunities - Past, Present and Future

The recent transfers of Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Zoo operations from the City of Detroit to the Detroit Zoological Society brought forth unique communications challenges and opportunities. A luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 14 will deliver insight on how the Detroit Zoological Society managed -- and is continuing to manage -- communications surrounding this event. "Detroit Zoological Society: Communications Challenges and Opportunities -- Past, Present and Future," will take place at the Southfield Westin Hotel, 1500 Town Center, from 11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The session will be led by Detroit Zoological Society representatives Greg Harris, chief advancement/administrative officer, and Patricia Mills, communications manager. Harris is responsible for managing the Marketing, Public Relations, Membership, Development and Guest Services Departments for the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Zoo. Mills is responsible for all public relations and communication activities for the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Zoo.
