IABC/Detroit and IKEA Present "Learn and Shop at IKEA Canton"

Free communications event to be held April 18 at IKEA Canton

Detroit, Mich. - March 7, 2007 - IABC/Detroit and IKEA are pleased to present "Learn and Shop at IKEA Canton." Geared toward business communications professionals, the event will deliver insight into IKEA's communication strategies, as well as provide tips on workspace design solutions. The event takes place in IKEA Canton's conference room (next to the restaurant), on Wednesday, April 18, starting at 6:00 p.m. IKEA is located at 41640 Ford Road in Canton. Admission is free of charge.

Over dessert and refreshments, IKEA Canton PR spokeswoman Lisa Allen will discuss the retailer's communication strategies, and Janet VanderLugt, IKEA Business Manager, will share tips and tricks on organizing your business or office. Following the discussion, attendees are free to browse and shop until the store closes at 9:00 p.m. Dinner is available for purchase in the cafeteria.
